Reviews Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X Hands Free Shredder, Super Cross-Cut

This Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X Hands Free Shredder, Super Cross-Cut 100 sheet shred free you from constantly feeding three or more sheets at a time. You just place a stack of sheets in the hopper and the shredder does the rest, unlike my previous shredder that claim to shred 12 sheets at a time but jammed when yo attempted to shred 12 sheets at a time
cheap price Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X Hands Free Shredder, Super Cross-Cut, 100 Sheets, 1-2 Users (1757571) : Paper Shredder
I really like this shredder. I have another shredder made by Fellowes which does a great job. However, I like the convenience of loading in a stack of paper and leaving the shredder to do the work rather than having to keep feeding the paper. Also, this is the first shredder I haven't needed to oil, so that's a huge plus.
  • Spend less time shredding versus a traditional shredder - just stack, shut and you're done
  • Up to 100 sheet automatic shredding of letter size sheets. Can shred up to 6 sheets at a time during manual feed shredding.
  • Shreds credit cards, paper clips and staples into a 7-gallon pull-out bin with view window
  • Super cross-cut shredder meets everyday security needs (Level P-4)
  • Auto+ Jam Clearance reverses and refeeds stuck papers. Self-cleaning cutters remove paper build-up to also help prevent jams.
This Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X Hands Free Shredder, Super Cross-Cut machine is expensive as far as shredders go, but it does the job and does it well, but if you don't have a lot of stuff to shred you might want to investigate a less expensive alternative. That being said, if, like me, you do have a lot of stuff to shred, then this is the machine for you.

The shredder jammed on those when added to the 4 sheet thickness of the spreadsheet. What was nice about it was it would momentarily jam, quit, then instantly back up the work piece and then commence to shred it again. In the center are multiple rollers with coarse rubber surfaces on them. On the lid that you close down on the paper the center section is raised in order to push down on the paper on the center. (Double sheets without adding machine tapes stapled to them works fine as well)

Let's talk about security levels. The whole reason why you are buying a shredder is to foil thieves who will pick up trash bags from along a street and sift through them to find banking statements, credit card statements etc. This Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X Hands Free Shredder, Super Cross-Cut is way better than one of those inexpensive simple sheet cut shredders that make long single strips that are the whole page long.
